Happy Hanami!
“In the cherry blossom’s shade
there’s no such thing
as a stranger.”
~ Kobayashi Issa
Japan is just dreamy right now. Blossoms, blossoms everywhere. I think I’ve converted Trace into {almost} a flower lover if not a shooter. The past month has been consumed with inspired shoots; from magazine spreads, to lovely families, babies, some travel work, couples and us + friends, just, naturally, mucking about. Finally getting around to posting some of our favorites. We’re going in reverse today with highlights from a weekend of debaucherous birthday celebrations, cherry blossom drenched (with just a touch of Moet and all things sweet – yes, there were macaroons and loads of Easter goodies). Thank you to all my lovely friends, family and clients for the gorgeous bday wishes. Barely coping with the age, but cupcakes help.
Plus we’re taking on Tokyo via a new mode – on bicycles. Look out world, life looks different on a bike. I am in the process of completely altering mine. I’m thinking streamers, a vintagy-basket to tote the cameras, some cool fabric, maybe a flag at the back, a Dee number plate and once upon a time didn’t we used to peg cereal box flaps or something to the wheels? They will feature. Will make the big reveal to the neighborhood shortly. Expecting all kinds of repercussions.
Photo wise we are almost fully booked in April, but we have a few spring openings in May for our signature Lifestyle Sessions and will soon be announcing new services and some fab 37 Frames events coming up. Make sure to sign-up for our newsletter to keep updated, find us on Facebook, too. Back to enjoying the blossoms and taking our drive-by shootings to the next level. Have a spectacular week.
